The Endocrine Fellows Foundation (EFF) and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) are pleased to offer fellows training in osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases a unique opportunity to participate in a Fellows Forum on Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases held prior to the ASBMR Annual Meeting.
Program: Faculty includes a distinguished group of leaders and the topics presented and discussed are timely and among the most important in our field. The program is balanced to be equally strong in clinical and basic aspects of metabolic bone diseases and starts with a Satellite Symposium on Wednesday. Thursday is a full day comprised of plenary lectures, breakout workshops, and a poster session. We view the poster session as one of the highlights of the day and look forward to hearing about fellows’ exciting research in this setting.
Eligibility:
Directors of Postdoctoral Subspecialty Training Programs for MDs (e.g. endocrinology, rheumatology, geriatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, women’s health) and Pre- or Postdoctoral PhD Fellowship Training Programs throughout the world are invited to identify individuals from their programs who meet the criteria listed below and whose education, in their opinion, would be enhanced by applying for this Forum.
Trainees in any of the three categories listed below can apply.
Selection and Travel Support: Selected fellows will be notified by the end of May. They will receive travel support for their flight and two nights lodging at our assigned hotel when booked by EFF. Fellows who live less than 4 hours from Seattle will be expected to drive and will receive mileage reimbursement.
Note: Fellows will only be invited to one in-person bone education program in a calendar year, Santa Fe Fellows Workshop or the EFF-ASBMR Fellows Forum. Only the EFF-ASBMR Fellows Forum accepts fellows working outside the United States.
The 2025 agenda is being finalized and will be uploaded here when complete. For travel planning all times listed are Pacific Time (PT):
