The Adrenal Preceptorship under the direction of Drs. Ricardo Correa and Irina Bancos is an interactive educational program designed to educate fellows on adrenal physiology and abnormalities of the adrenal gland, to date an underrepresented educational area. The Adrenal Preceptorship will provide a special environment to update fellows on this area and to create a network among peers and faculty to increase adrenal research.
Program Format: The agenda will include expert faculty didactic lectures and case discussion, small group discussion sessions facilitated by faculty mentors, poster session, and ample time for faculty and fellow networking during meals and breaks.
Eligibility: Endocrinology fellowship program directors are invited to identify fellows from their programs who meet the criteria and whose education would be enhanced by participating in this Adrenal Preceptorship. Applicants can be a first, second or third-year endocrine fellow or a current year graduate who has an interest in learning more about adrenal conditions. The applicant must be in an accredited US-based, relevant specialty training program. Priority will be given to fellows who submit an abstract for poster presentation.
Selection and Travel Support: Selected fellows will be notified by the end of July. Fellows living outside the St. Paul area will receive travel support for their flight and two nights lodging at the InterContinental Hotel when booked by EFF. Fellows who live less than 4 hours from St. Paul will be expected to drive and will receive mileage reimbursement.
The 2025 agenda is being finalized and will be uploaded here when complete. For travel planning all times are Central Time (CT):
